How does the IBEX Electric Meat Trimmer Work?

The IBEX Electric system incorporates a low voltage DC motor that is mounted in the hand piece. This ultra small yet extremely powerful motor is the heart of the new drive system, running on low voltage DC power which comes via a local control box with an integrated e-stop and control panel for added safety.

Joining the control box to the hand piece is a lightweight and flexible, variable length cable (1.6m, 2.1m and 2.6m) – removing the need to drive trimmers with a flex shaft inner and outer cable, IBEX have significantly reduced the ongoing maintenance costs associated with trimmer cable replacements.

Remotely, a power supply converts the mains power to low voltage DC. The power supply has the ability to operate multiple hand pieces simultaneously, ensuring that the initial capital cost is minimized.
